Monday Night at Shaggy

This Monday night I had the pleasure of going to a chill little lounge in Toyohashi called “Shaggy” to watch my friend perform on violin there. The crowd was mostly older Japanese people, and the music was mostly Japanese folk, but I felt the place had a nice atmosphere. One of the patrons was having her 60-something birthday, and she shared about half of her birthday cake with the three of us, when she must have had at least 10 friends there! So generous.

As is my wont, I took a bunch of photographs that I feel turned out quite nice and really captured the mood that night. I’ve shared them on my gallery, so please take a look.
